Armor animations?

I was equipping my dulk-senba to do some running and notice that whenever i block/evade or whatever there's a dark shadow animation. I tried equipping with other armor like yamata-senba, and orpa-senba but only getting normal green animation. Is this normal? does any other armor have a different animation when taking damage or blocking?

Rabol Rappy creates a burst of feathers when you block.

Yes, it's normal; some armors are just special like that. The Rabol Rappy drops feathers when struck, and the Shinowa Line goes all psychedelic for example. I think there's a few more like that.

Dulk-Senba has a sweet blocking animation, if only I could see it.
