Tycho: Use an auction deputy service. I like http://www.crescent-shop.com - Their fees and policies are reasonable. Another popular one is Rinkya, but their policies aren't as good and unless you're buying something over 40,000 yen their fees are insane.

I'm turning 18 this month. I wanted a car, but my parentals say we are too poor. (Even though my mom's been out to shop for a new car of her own recently. ; n ; ) Then I put on PS3, which has been on my b-day - x-mas list since it came out, then I got a straight no. Jeez, they could of least suprized me with nothing instead of just telling me they arn't getting me anything. XP O well, wouldn't be the first time.

But I'd say video games or a high def tv or something technologically advanced would make any young adult smile.
