regarding stuff Vegas 1 veterans get for Vegas 2!


What's really wuvable is the message you get when
the sequel reads your Vegas 1 data (and I think
you don't have to be Elite to get them, but it helps)

Someone started with 2500xp,
ballistic face mask and flight helmet.
A good reward for veterans! ya we have to rank
up again but hey if we are already Elite in Vegas 2,
then there would be no need for XP. We'll have to
earn our rank again since Vegas 2 is a whole new
challenge.

so you don't need to connect online to edit them.
Plus great news that you can create and use your
P.E.C. offline and online and still earn points
and rewards.

(good news is that even offline, players who
want a team in terrorist can do so with up to
2 a.i. partners. oh ya and even terrorist
hunt online, you can still carry 2 weapons besides
a handgun.

oh ya and don't worry those who didn't get Vegas 1,
You unlock the Flight Helmet at Staff Sergeant = 20,000 xp
And you unlock the Ballistic Face Mask at Colonel = 350,000 xp

We get Veteran status, not Elite. Think CoD4's Prestige mode, except you don't have to do it over and over again. Aside from the extra XP and gear all we get is a shiny new badge.

lol I was wrong, that "special" badge I kept seeing was just a redesign for Specialist.

I'm loving some of the new things they put in. Being able to equip my MP5 and Glock with a high capacity magazine is fun.

ya! they improved EVERYTHING!! well minus 4 player story co-op but
the improved 4 player terrorist hunt makes up for it. haha it would
be interesting if TH had metroids instead of terrorists. then I
could call tht mode Metroid II!
