Question about Spread Needle/G

Does anyone know exactly how the leaderboard system is going to work? My real question is, does it keep track of individual characters? Or does it do it by account? I'll be devastated if I dont get a Spread Needle, but Im not going to want to do all of the work on just one character and neglect all that delicious exp for my others. Im hoping it goes by account, but Im not sure how that would work, the only way I could see was to post the leaderboards using ID numbers, but not sure if that would be smart or not. Any helpful input is appreciated.

There is no word yet on how the system will work and how many could be given out. We just gotta wait for more info to be posted.

No, that was for clear times on missions like Bruce, Egg Thives, and HSM.

I sure hope there is none. some people like to play alts. I got 2 characters to finish and then I'm all done! A leaderboard doesn't really reward the best players anyways. I know that even if there is a leaderboad I personally would still play my alts just to gather the easy exp and to not waste my time.

the JP got that too, they have not comfirmed wether or not we are getting leaderboards.

infact, several people have PMed chillaura about it, and he never responds.

so its still up in the air wether or not we will have kill leaderboards or not.

Well I hope its not something you need to get on a leaderboard for. We all know the people with no other life activities but rolling out of bed to play this game 24/7 will obviously reach the ranks, while the others who aren't fortunate enough to play all the time wouldn't get a chance. However, I feel ST realizes this and i'm guessing it will be something like 1up, where you just clear a certain amount of stuff and you get it. Just imo.
