I've stated this before on the GameFAQs.com message boards, but I think the best idea that will never be implemented at this point is for either a version of PSO EI&II XBox with the online-only content built in - kinda like what they did with PSO EI&II+ for the GameCube - or a hard disc with just the PSOX online-only content. Let me know if you think we've got more than a snowman's chance in hell of seeing this materialize.

Not a "whole nother game disc" per se, more like a half-sequel or an expansion, that's at least what it would be. When PSO EI&II+ came out for GameCube, it had Central Dome Fire Swirl and the Episode 2 quests on it. If they could do that, a PSO EI&II+ for the X-Box with ALL the online content (CDFS, Ep.2 quests, Towards The Future, Gallon's Shop, etc.) shouldn't be that much more of a stretch.

Was there EVER a chance for players to download "Towards the Future" and "Gallon's SHop" and all the other online-only content other than Central Dome Fire Swirl?

I think not, considering they didn't even get put on PSO+. And that, I feel I should say, is the only version of PSO you can get now that has even SOME of the online stuff, unless you downloaded what you could when you could.
