The controller lay out is pretty much the same, but you can't use your triggers. I have figured out how to use the back button for the mission stat thing (the one you use to get your mp). I'll take a pic of my layout a little later for you.

You need a Japanese PS2 to play PSU-AOTI Japanese Version along with the KEY.

You'll need a JP PS2 or a modded PS2 (if im correct) to play a JP game.
This is due to the region Lockouts
