Is it quite common for people to play who have absolutely no understanding of the Japanese language? I've played NA PSU since release so I think I would be alright navigating my way around the Japanese menu's.. The only thing that concerns me is searching for items without being able to spell their names in the search field D:

its pretty easy at all, with the right websites you can find everything you want in no time
All you need for this are two websites and maybe a list of Katkana to correct the translation if the converter made a mistake. If you really consider to start on JP, me or TenebriS can give you the right sites and all stuff you need for JP. You can PM one of us anytime if you need help.
