Hey guys, SeKaI is making a movie about this thread because it's so hilarious. Easily the funniest movie of the year.

Why is this thread still going? I mean, yeah it's hilarious and all, but given that the OP's question is pretty much long gone at this point....

Let’s put it this way: If the stored ticks are covering the damage you receive at the moement, you’re not using Resta or Giresta. If the stored ticks are covering the damage entirely over the four minute period, you’re not using Resta at all. Under any circumstance where you need to use Resta, than the advantage of one cast is greater than the advantage of the ticks and thus minimizing the number of casts will always have a higher effect than any other strategy.

But, still, we’re talking about a matter of seconds regardless.

As a disclaimer, I’m still under the seemingly flawed assumption that the individual using Giresta is not just constantly spamming Giresta while everyone in the party is at full health. I.e., you’re not going to heal with anything immediately following each 6% drop every 2 seconds of a Vanda burn 5.

And I see no reason not to keep this discussion going indefinitely. I’m having just as much fun as everyone else.
