You can have both installed on the same PC, no separate hard drive required. You need to tweak some settings on Windows when switching between the two, though.
ah yes good good ^.^ could you tell me how so i don't have to overload my already sorry pc hdd?
Um, I'm not really sure what you mean... If you don't have enough space on your internal hard drive for it, it'll have to go on your external. As for step by step instructions, look at this page: http://psupedia.info/Joining_the_Japanese_Server
i can put it on the pc hdd, but i don't want it slow down my pc too much
yes...you CAN put both versions on one PC.
I'm not sure if the JP version of PSU requires the regional settings to be changed, but a lot of JP games I have require me to change my regional settings via the Control Panel.
lol i figured it out. it's reading the start up menus and the settings as the japanese version. but both loaded right. wasn't expecting that XD
When you start the JP version it'll set the language for the game to Japanese. The start up menu uses this to know which language to list in the menu. An easy fix to this is to go to folder where the US version is installed and make a copy of "LangAE.bin" and name it "LangJ.bin". The text will likely be a bit misplaced in the menu but it'll boot up fine and its still readable.
