2nd Anniversary Thanks Festa

The official site for the upcoming Japanese 2nd Anniversary Thanks Festa has just opened! This event will begin in the end of August (either August 21 or 28), and will be bringing back Holupe Dence's VR training program. Forgive the rushed job here; I've got to get ready for work, but if I have a chance when I get to the office, I'll add anything I've missed.

The event missions are "The Protectors Gamma" and "The Protectors Delta." Think of them as AOTI only versions of last year's Alpha and Beta. The event will feature increased rare drop rates, increased enemy EXP payout, multiple boss battles and (as such) 2x boss containers. Also, the site says that the exchange mission "Desert City Armory" will receive an update during the event.

Cool, I actually liked the winter event missions, and I guess that we'll get this event around winter next year. I can't wait to see what we will need for the Guld and Milla binding, please no Casino items!

To celebrate Phantasy Star Universe second year and Ambition of the Illuminus first year. The popular mission which combine different part of the map come back again.
This time, it will add numbers of Illuminus maps and Boss.

Event mission specialness:
1. the drop rate from monster and boxes will be multiple. This is your chance to hunt your rare.
2. the exp bonus! this is your chance to straight right to the next lv cap 160 which will be the new cap that will start together with this event.
3. continuous boss battle with the Illuminus bosses such as De Ro Lei! boss drop containers will also be increased! Bonus container will be counted from the mission result. the better result, the more container will appear ( I assume that more disc you get = more container, max = 24 Disc from screen.)

Event mission detail :

Prologue mission
To practice fighting with strong monster. The combat training simulator is finally finished! All top-class skill guardians such as you are encouraged to participate in this.
The Protectors Gamma
since the time of unification is no longer an issue, My most important mission is to encourage many talent guardian to participate in this simulator.
The Protectors Delta
Base on gamma version, I have upload an addition custom version. Show me your top-class guardians' power.

cooperate with Desert City Armory
the exchange mission "Desert City Armory" will receive an update during the event. There will be new material which are normally unobtainable drop from event mission to be exchange in some new specific items.

I hope it's better than last year's. The "Winter Festival" was HORRIBLE. I don't care what anyone says; it was our worst event by far. Then again, they did it right before the drop rate patch, so it seemed really pointless.

I guess it all depends on if they release it one at a time like last year, and what drops.
