Dr. Sanford Barsky, co-author of the study and a member of the University of California, Los Angeles' Jonnson Comprehensive Cancer Center, said he was not surprised by the findings. He said any substance that is inhaled, regardless of chemical makeup, releases carcinogens into the lungs and throat.

Carcinogen refers to any substance, radionuclide or radiation that is an agent directly involved in the promotion of cancer or in the fatation of its propagation. This may be due to ability to damage the genome or to the disruption of cellular metabolic processes. Several radioactive substances are considered carcinogens, but their carcinogenic activity is attributed to the radiation, for example gamma rays and alpha particles, which they emit. Common examples of carcinogens are inhaled asbestos, certain dioxins, and tobacco smoke.

If you have $350 Trillion, yes, with a capital T, feel free to make it happen for us. Unfortunately the entire US only makes about $14 trillion a year (which is still more than triple the number two spot of Japan with $4.3 trillion). If you want 'free money' Alaska has plenty of land, though good luck living off of the $1500 they give a year. The UAE has a population smaller than 20 of the 50 US States. The bottom seven States by population (and DC included) are higher in population than the entire UAE. We can't just give away money here because we have more population than all but two other countries in the entire world.

Oh, and by the by, if each citizen of the UAE has $1000000 to their name that means the country needs to have on hand $5.4 trillion. Which it doesn't.

    Either way, it's still illegal.
The people who probably got cancer from marijuana were too fucked up to do anything about it.
You just hold on for dear life to that article... which still doesn't say marijuana is actually good.
It said that it has cancer causing substances still, even if it kills the hazardous cells that grow, I'm pretty sure it kills cells that you might end up needing later on..
How did you say smoking marijuana would benefit humankind again?

The entire world. Combined. Doesn't have that much money, much less being liquid assets. The rest of the world is feeling this too. Globalization was part of why 1920s and 1930s sucked world-wide. Considering the Russian market took a huge dump recently it would hardly be surprising to see other markets take large dips as well.

It didn't even say anything GOOD about marijuana,
Unless you consider, growing cancerous cells, that later die a GOOD thing, when you could just avoid them altogether.
