I used to play this game so much, really liked it .
Always wanted to try the online part coz I knew it'd be awesome.
Still do, but not sure, are the servers still open?
Does the online differ as much from the offline?

There is a time for the law's justice, and there is a time for justice to be served by yourself.
This game was real fun when it came out. Servers were taken down with the Ep1&2 GC ones back in April of last year iirc. I believe on those(can't tell you which ones) servers you can still play Ep3 but my GC is dead and I can't get PSO Ep3 online with my Wii so I dunno if it works.
But in most aspects, gameplay-wise, its the same Offline and Online. Tho Online you could play against other people instead of comps, who sucked badly. There were also tournaments that netted you meseta, for messing around with the Lobbies Jukebox or for Auctions to try and get rare cards. Back when the game first came out, there were also Official Tournaments which were also alot of fun to play.
I still pop this game in my Wii every now and then to play it, but without the online aspect, this game is nowhere near as fun as it used to be.
Yeah, I gathered that point, as less of my friends have moved off it x)
But about the GC, whats that? See I don't have a Wii, moved on to the Xbox 360 from the Gamecube. So, do you mean theres some sort of a custom server, like it's not officially made by Sega etc?

There are unofficial servers out to play PSO on, I'm just not sure if PSO Ep3 works or is completely compatible with them. Like I said, my GC(Gamecube) is dead and you can't get online with PSO on the Wii so I can't try and check.
Oh ok. Thanks for your help, I'll lok in to it .

Episode 3 is so buggy on the private servers that it's nearly unplayable.
The sad truth is, you're too late. Online Episode 3 died with Sega.
No wayy, that blows .
Was relatively looking forawrd to this.. By buggy do you mean glitchy and problematic?

Buggy as in many abilities/cards simply don't work, some random things happen with damage, sometimes you start in the wrong place at the start of a match...the list goes on.
Yeah the bugs are weird. You equip a weapon, you attack, you die. O.o
