Looking for some help for a returning player.

I started PSU back at release but didn't stay with the game. I recently came back after reading about the expansion but I am lost as to what to do. Primarily I'd like to do some leveling and creating good weapons to use but I find it hard to get a group or know values on a lot of things due to all the 'storage' shops.

I'm currently a 22/5 Hunter and have access to AotI. What should I do to level up and what kind of weapons should I work on creating? I use twin-sabers.
