Thank you god the the worst president in the last 20 years will soon be on his way out the door. Obama will save us that's for sure. Their is only one way to stop this pain and that's to vote for Obama not Mccain.

My prediction: This thread will not go well
Ghetto lady thinks your froggy's name is Lou McGopher
Their is no need for name calling please express your opinion in an educated way, my opinion is that bush is the worst president that we have had in my short lifespan.
I havent been on this site very long or very often and I do not see why this needs to be locked unless people can not control themselves in an young adult or adult manner?

All right, all right, I'll play along.
You'd like me to give an educated reason for me saying, "lol, ignorance." I'd like one why you think Obama is the savior of the USA.
From what I've gathered, paying attention to what's going on, Obama keeps changing his views/stance on situations. He has great charisma, but behind that I don't really see someone capable, at the moment, to lead this country. He's pretty socialistic, has the "lol GTFO out of Irag". Wait, didn't we do that in Desert Storm and the revolutionaries stood up against Saddam thinking we'd support them only to be slaughtered? No one wants another Desert Storm; we need to finish up there and do things right, not bail out.
Oh yeah, LBP, did you know Bush proposed a plan several years back to try and fix up the economy then? McCain voted for similar plans in recent years as well. Guess who shot it down?
I still feel a bit sorry for Bush. A lot of stuff has happened during his presidency that would make anyone look bad. I mean, he isn't our best president, but I don't think he deserves a lot of the blame he's gotten either. And before someone quotes me, bolds and super sizes their response, let it be known that I, Kylie, will be voting blue this election. Not that it really matters because my state will be red guaranteed. Honestly, I'm more concerned about the senator race in my state.

And my opinion is that Bush did a fairly decent job, given the incredibly horrid hand he was dealt. Sure, some things could have been handled better, but so it goes. No one is perfect, and every president makes mistakes. Tends to happen when you are in arguably the single most stressful job on the planet.
As for the upcoming election, here's my two cents: Lawyer/"activist" against military veteran. Career politician against "hockey mom." Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, Obama and Biden, not Bush, McCain, or Palin, may as well be "the Devil," to use the OP's own "educated" term. I don't exactly buy that notion of "hope" and "change," at least not from any of the candidates we have up there this time around.
(EDIT: Sorry if that came off as a little too grating, LBP, but politics tend to bring out the worst of the cynic in me.)

American politicians have very little say in the way the country is run. While I like Obama, I don't think - if elected - that he'll have any real power to bring change, and neither will the competition. His IQ is higher than Bush, McCain, and Palin combined... so at least it'll be a step forward, if anything.
I said that he will be the savior is because mccain will continue the same poor decision making that bush has started, even powell is smart enough to see that Mccain is an idiot.
And yeas Obama surrounded by people who actually can about the mid and lower class citizens of the USA. Will help to began the healing process he has Bill Clinton as an advisor so thats a plus.
Clinton left us in a very good position financially and we were respected among the united nations a 27% approval rating is horrible and Obama is loved by almost everyone.
