The price to play the bonus mission is 240 tickets. You pay 240 / how many people are in the party.
240/2 = 120, 240/3 = 80 etc.
You have no choice.
No you can't get scamed, you might be able to get scammed though.

If the other people don't have atleast 60 tickets (for a 4 person party) it won't even let them go into the counter. Once everyone is in the mission, it automatically deducts the tickets from you. So no, you can't be scammed.
