When you say 480 or 600 pipes, do you guys mean 480/600 pipes all at once? What if the pipes are spread out over several sessions? Like 100 per day? Will that still ruin the GC?

I ment in all the time i play PSO i have done over 600 pipings for just Skyly Love rappies (And still not the 50h Heart of Poumn i hunt from them >_< hit HoP's are frigging rare). Only thing that matters if you spread them out is that you cube will last longer. If you do like 50 a day it will take longer to die then when you do 100 a day. Though again it differs per cube.
Your cube will always suffer from it if you pipe repeative. If you play a entire day you pipe alot too but then you do other stuff, going to your bank, shops etc. With piping you only move between p2 and the area without walking arround, your cube will keep reading the same data over and over. Ultimatly your lens will get ruined from it, and your cube will get Disk Read Error's (DRE) which are escpecially online annoying, as they make you loose all your items in your item pack which aren't equipped, like a FSOD does.
If you want to save your cube, try to avoid piping much. Ofcourse it doesn't harm to pipe sometimes, but if you pipe every day like a 100 times then yeah, you can bet your cube will die soon.
