Not really, especially with a real version of the Spread Needle on the horizon....or somewhere behind it.

Real SN = Very rare (according through some sources) and only available through JP currently

It still doesn´t answer why the G version has less value then a Love Inferno? Both SN are unattainble through normal means.
It got worse status yes, but when were status that important on a Shotgun type?
I thought people got Spread Needle for it´s unique look´s and animation.
Same as people want Love Inferno for it´s unique style where it´s pretty much is the same drill?

Or have some new formula popped up?

My thoughts are that eventually you will be able to find a Spread Needle at any point in time when Holy Hallucination is released. Although it may be rare, Love Inferno is already a known extremely difficult drop and it's only possible to obtain for a few weeks in the year.
