How do you use the techniques like resta?

Ok, I bought PS:P a little while ago, and I'm starting to play it...
I'm on my first char, a level 10 hunter and I picked up resta (I think from a mission reward) but I can't seem to -use- it.

Can anybody please show me how to actually use the technique?
I'd like to apply it to my action palette if I could...

In my inventory, with the disc, it's only options are learn or drop (or return)
In my player information, under photon arts list, the only options is returning it to disc.

Am I just being an idjut?

must equip said technique to either a wand/rod/or tech mag in order to use it. You much LEARN the technique before you can do anything with it as well.

OH! Wow... I didn't realize that.
So how do hunters use resta then? Last I checked, hunters aren't able to use rods/wands.

I haven't found a tech mag yet. Should I just be more patient till I do?

You can easily just buy a tech mag.

GRM and Yohmei make them. Just check the shops for one. You also need to link the tech to that weapon after it's on your pallet. Like a melee PA.

Thank you all very much, I figured it out after going to the shops and looking at everything I found a tech weapon and didn't realize it's a mag, so I bought it.

I'm soooo used to PSO where you can have techs used without attaching it to something. lol. I have to get used to this...
