KOFXII has a boss character, Mai, other new characters, costumes, and additional stages on its disc.

I'm not buying any of it. I'm done with that game. A little DLC is fine with me, but I'm not going to put up with a fucking boss as DLC.

Anyway SNega claims that they are working on the netcode as we speak. I've talked with Ponder in the #ggpo EFnet IRC chat channel and he said he didn't get any approaches from SNKP about licensing the netcode.

I hope SNega pulls its Japanese head out of its Japanese ass and realize the Western market is a much different beast from what they've been dealing with in Wapland.

C'mon, no need for the insults towards Japan. But yeah, I guess I can say that the game looks really awesome, and I haven't had any problems with glitches or whatever. But I can still see why people say it sucks. There's hardly any content, plus no Mai or K'.

Besides, KoF 11 is better anyway.

Yeah, I'm kind of understanding where people are coming from with their criticization of KoF 12, and yeah, of course it's nowhere near as good as KoF 11. This game seems to be SNK's response to Capcom's SFIV in that they just returned everything back to the old school, but IMO it just doesn't seem as great.

ONLINE UPDATE: The testing of the update is quickly coming to a end with extremely positive results! We just have to get Microsoft and Sony approvals now but we are targeting to have it available near the end of August.
