I've owned it for few years now and while its kinda like Sonic Adventure, the game is riddled with glitches and loading screens with assanine sidequests.

Controls in general were annoying (360 anyway) there were glitches, and the story was weird as anything. Sonic and a human princess? no thanks.

Ah, well thanks for the replies so far. It's just a huge let down because it's one of the first things I wanted for my Playstation 3 when I got it, being a Huge Sonic Adventure fan. It's sad that everyone found it disappointing; I trust the reviews I've heard enough to stay away from it thus far though. D=

Me too. I've loved Sonic since age 5, yet I haven't bought any of them since rush thanks to all the reviews I've seen pointing me the other way. Basically there's an old man in front of every single sonic game saying, "This is not the game you are looking for"
You can probably find a copy for about $5 if you really want to.
Though I'm curious - the most common major complaint about it has been the excess of loading screens - but are there any reports on what difference a hard drive installation would make on the 360?
ProTip: To damage your credibility, simply call any of the Phantasy Star games "massively-multiplayer."
Not to mention the tedious chores you have to do in the town. And while loading time is average, I suppose, people didn't like how the game transitioned to loading screens every 4-5 mins.
The game is also plagued with numerous technical glitches, camera problems, and poor design decisions.
Mediocre story line, poor voice acting, and overly cliched characters don't make things more bearable either.
