What's the best way to get Addslots?
I don't really want to pipe normal temple for them, so I wonder if there's a level where it's particularly easy to find them in boxes or something. Also, what are the chances of getting a Guard Wave with slots? Should I pipe until I get a guard wave with 3 or 4 slots, or just try to find addslots?

I usually do Hard Mines when looking for Addslots with my Redria.
When I had a redria I found like...12 Addslots in normal Forest my first time thru. Thu my collection of 4slot armors ranging from lvl 10-72
I realize now that there is no reason to ever use an addslot on an armor that you won't be using for pretty much the life of that character. Once you get to ultimate, you almost never find addslots, and at the same time you don't change armor either. I have two Brightness Circles and 3 Guard Waves, and I don't see myself trying to get an Aura Field because since it drains TP, I'd only give it to a Newman. I find 4 slot regular armors enough that there's no reason to ever use addslots on them.
How many runs does it take to find one usually? Edit: it looks like since Redria finds them in Forest 1, Cave 1, and Mine 1 boxes, that the best thing to do is do those three sections instead of a whole mine run, because there's no reason to finish mine when they don't drop from mine 2 boxes.

Yeah, it's been a while since I've gone looking for addslots but I do remember doing just one portion of an area. Just keep grinding. They'll appear.
Did a run through Forest, Cave and Mine 1 and got nothing, then got one in forest 1 next time I tried. Getting one every other run would be a good rate.

I've found quite a few in hard and very hard in the mines and caves. But it really just comes down to how many boxes you feel like breaking open.
Be prepared for life........because it has sharp objects.
