Batman: Arkham Asylum
So the demo is finally up on PSN and XBL, I believe it dropped this Thursday? Anyway, game is hella tight! I've been eagerly following this game since they first revealed it as it seemed to me that it would be quite a game. The demo most certainly cemented my expectations. I urge all of you now to get on and give it a whirl. I'm speculating that this game will be to the Batman line of videogames, what The Dark Knight and Batman Begins was to the movie franchises.

Damn no love for Batman? I'll chime in then. I've been impressed by the demo as well, and I can't wait to pick up the game when it releases. It's pretty much the Batman game fans have wanted to play for years. Also, really, if you were a fan of the Batman Animated Series from the 90's, you'll HAVE to at least give it a look for the voicework alone. It's cool to hear that the voice actors, Mark Hamill in particular, still got it. Check the demo out, NOWZ.
The game has Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill doing the voice overs.
Why should anyone not buy this game?

The demo is like five minutes of gameplay.
I mean, it plays great, it sounds great and it's gorgeous, but... I just don't feel like the demo has given me a good idea of what the game is going to be like in the long term.
Still, I didn't care about the game before, and I enjoyed the demo, so that was a surprise.
Glad to see that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are back in.
As for the demo, I thought it was alright... I'll definitely rent it when it comes out.
I'm not too sure I trust the opinion of one who calls a new release hella tight!
That said, I've seen it, and it does look promising. Pretty sure it's also a PC game, too.
You have to remember, there's WAY more things to do. The demo was only showing the brawler part of the game, with no sneakiness. Pretty cool takeouts though.
I'll definitely give this a try. The voicework was great.
