why does anyone in japan show 9->10 grinds anymore, since you can use GC to get 1-8, and unbreak things if they fail...?

Where is the acomplishment?

A) Because it's fun.
B) Because people still find a sense of accomplishment in getting a 10/10 weapon even if you don't think they should. (This is the Finds/Synths/Accomplishment Thread after all.)
C) To secretly annoy you.
D) All of the above.

Last run of the night found a Zoal Head then... profit.


All of those I never used GC to fix and I felt a sense of accomplishment in getting them.

95% of the stuff I grind and post here are naturally grinded, unless the item is really really really rare (like event prizes or Lavis weps). For example, I used GC to grind my Lavis Dagger to 0->8, just to have better chances to grind it to 10. I dont see anything wrong about that...the real accomplishment comes if you dont fail that attempt; when you repair stuff, I dont really feel it like an accomplisment, tbh; this reason led me to npc both Demolition Comet and Blitzgazer after they broke horribly.

i know its probably not much of an accomplishment to many of you, but it is to me. I started my first pwand last night and today i heard that sweet sound of success from my PM telling me i made my first psycho wand

Over the past 10 days, I have built myself my AF palette from the bottom up. I started with a few 0/10 46%s and have worked to this! Cost me roughly 450mil to synth/buy/grind it into a single masterpiece.

Credit goes entirely to Crysteon for grinding my 46% Lightning Sanzu-hiken! lol

Drill Knuckles are ridiculously expensive to synth, let alone buy and hope for high % 10/10. 46% 0/10s are 30-40mil a piece here...
