    Default 10/17 Demo Information

    http://ameblo.jp/phantasy-star-porta...366955654.html
There's going to be stuff you've heard before here but you can just skip it and go to the new stuff if you want.

    Release date
    • Downloads from the official site start 11/1.
    • Downloads from the Playstation Store start 11/2.
    • 370+ megabytes are needed to install the demo.
    • UMD versions are available with purchase of any PSP related item at participating retailers starting 11/9.
    • UMD versions of the demo can install digital copies of the demo on the memory stick inserted in the PSP.

    General Demo Information
    • Requires firmware 6.0 or above.
    • 2 save slots (8 save slots in the retail version)
    • Import your character from PC/PS2 AotI or PSP1
    • Max character level is 15
    • Max type level is 5
    • You can use several collaboration items including the Pizza Hut and Fanta items.
    • There are passwords for other items to use too.
    • No challenge missions.
    • The following shops are not available:
      • Costume (clothes / parts) shop
      • Room Shop
      • Cafe (?)
      • Type counter
      • The size and shape option is not available in the make up store.

    Missions
(I'll probably get some of these names wrong, let me know what their proper names are if I do)

    Free Missions
    • Undersea Relics
    • Sleeping Warriors
    • Plains Overlord
    • Destroy the Multi-legged weapon!

    Battle Mission
    • Catapult Jump (multimode, internet multimode only)

    Extra Mission
    • Bruce's Dungeon (!)

This version of Bruce's Dungeon is slightly different than the one in PSU. Some monsters and traps have changed and Bruce doesn't tag along either.

This isn't that thing from me.

As far as I know, demos with 6.00 firmware can be played as long as you have the version.txt file with the right text written on it.

    Hint- Undead Knights.

There are plenty of 6.0 games working on 5.00 M33!
There is a new game patcher that enables them to work on M33 cfw, I'm sure somebody will post a link when the demo is released...

To start the game and play in any mode, except Internet Multi Mode: for this one, your PSP must be updated with the latest firmare (currently, 6.10). So, every time that Sony will offer a new version of its firmware, you'll need to update your console too if you want continue to play online.
    Spoiler!

Since not everyone will get to be able to play internet mode in the demo, you don't actually have to have the most recent version. If you get lucky enough to play in it, sure, but if you're stuck offline, then you only need 6.0.

That's it. I haven't played the English version of PSU in ages so I don't have any idea what missions are what anymore.

(Hopfully I can post this here)

    http://pspslimhacks.com/cfw-5-50-gen...pter-required/

With that, it seems that there won't be any trouble with playing the game itself. Online may be another matter, though...
