Ahh I think I remember this Dural, if he was a RAcast in ep 3 back when the servers were still up. We had a conversation about Xenosaga and he mentioned that the "erde" in erde kaiser meant something like " earth" so I began calling him "Erde Dural Fury".

But yeah, the current state of the server makes it a bit too impractical for many deck strategies.

The only thing that bugs me about offline multiplayer is that your friends can see what cards you have.

That one just seemed inevitable. Is there any other POSSIBLE way they could have averted that one?

the only possibility would've been a GC-GBA-link similar to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles..
but that'd reeeeeally not be worth the money for 4 GBAs in my opinion xD

despite the fact that others can see your cards, the offline mode is almost as cool as the online-mode had been (if you can make balanced teams with your friends, that is)

heh, I still miss 'em too dude. Shame they gave up fixing everything on the server. Can't say I blame them though, it's a complete mess.

Anyway, I've never played this on the "server" but from these horror stories, it seems that I'm not missing much anyway, even though it would be nice to play this game with other people.
