Default Import PS:P2 is forbidden in EU ?

I wanted to pre-order psp2 on play-asia, that is where I bought Phantasy Star Zero 9months ago,
but it seems that its not able for shipping in Europe,

Why do they do that and is there an other way / site to import the game?

sigh It is hard being a gamer in Europe; games always come later, limit quantities or are not being released at all and now they are prohibiting us for importing the game.

edit: yeah this should be in the portable section.......

There is another thread about the best importing options pointing to yesasia. This is where I will import it (I'm in germany so this f****** restriction of sony is affecting me too ;_; )

    Yeah, Ebay is the solution
But luck appears in the process too, with bids and all.

Blame Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for not being able to import from play-asia, they demanded liksang, one of the best import sites back in the day and they had to close business, so playasia stopped importing PSP and PS3 games to Europe in fear of the same consequences (luckily PS2 games could be imported...).

I use yesasia exclusively to import PSP and PS3 games, for everything else I use playasia.

O.k. let me get this straight, So Sony doesn't want us to buy there product because the trade mark is not ready?

So what is the point, they make money by those products....

Anyway thanks for your help, I will give yesasia a try.

they didnt want europeans importing psp's for cheaper than they were elsewhere so they did this to make more money.

that was the general gist of it if i recall.

I have a question. If I download a copy of PSP2 on my PC and then emulate the game, is it still possible for me to play online if I pay the subscription fees?

I want the game but I refuse to just buy a PSP simply for one game.

Also get the PSP for Phantasy Star Portable and the American Castlevania: Rondo of Blood remake (I think it's called the Castlevania X Chronicles or something).
