Cause I hunted for it at freeplay from morning till evening and I don't get anything but crap.

I'm pretty sure drop rates are static (unchanging) offline or on, I have yet to hear otherwise.
EDIT: Apparently drop rates are increased in wi-fi mode

Everything drops in every mode. The only things that change on online play are quests. You can't get like.. cake shop or whatever in multi mode.
Drops are increased in wifi.

I picked up a Milias Sword yesterday in Free play! It didn't have a PA, but oh well! It's verry purrty!
I had to beat Humilias on Hard about three times before my wife found one, it had Dynamo Spin of all things, as a PA, but oh well, at least I have one.
I probably lucked out, from what I hear from my friends it usually takes them 10 or so tries average.

Nice. I played super hard fifty over times and not a soul. Probably unlucky hahas.
