How much do you pay to get in at the movie theater?

15 ~ 20 dollars, thereabouts. Not that there's a theater within 30 driving minutes of where I live.

Wow..It think there's at least 6 within 20 minutes of driving from me.

I also live 1-2 hours away from most of the theme parks here in Florida, and there's always a bunch of theaters at the theme parks.

I don't, I just wait for the DVD unless someone else wants to pay for it, hasn't been a movie I wanted to rush out and see for a fair while now.

Usually $7 or $8 around here. But yeah, the concession stands are what'll tear up your wallet.

I usually bring a bottle of water anyway.
I don't drink soda, and I hate popcorn because it gets stuck in your teeth.

Though I do like to get the peanuts or whatever they are. They're good stuff.

Other than that, I wont spend money on any of that junk unless I have a date, but who bring a chick to the movies anymore?

Don't know. I haven't been to the theater in YEARS. Though I'm sure I'll find out soon now that Agora finally has a US distributor.

But I live in Sweden. There's no real way to compare prices. Different economy, etc...

It´s around $13-14 (not trying to be nitpicky).

The shopping center (it's too small to be a mall - but then again, it has a massive apartment complex built on top of it - I dunno) that they built in my city a few years ago has a Target in the basement, so I'll sometimes take a quick trip down there to grab a drink before heading upstairs to the movie.

I think it's $4.50 at matinée (maybe $5.75) and $8.00 (or $8.50) at other times. Snacks are through the roof though.

Oh God, don't get me started on the concession area. I rather not eat anything until I'm out the theater, seriously the theater companies(like Multiplex) must be out their effin' minds to charge near what you pay to get in just for a few items. I rather spent that money on one of those private fast-food joints, sometimes ghetto but still good.
