Does anybody know how to activate it? I have done all the subplots and it didn't open in any of them. Is it just a loose teleporter to put you on the wrong foot to not destroy the rubble or did anyone open it?

I read hints that alternate paths would open up later. Maybe thats one of them? I'm definitely wondering about that myself.
Cheating is just an admission of personal inadequacy.
Thats the problem I did all subplotsso normaly it would be opened... Same for the last acchievement. It didn't unlock at any subplot.
