Best type of weapon?

I'm trying to figure out if i should use a double sword or a sword. Although the sword is stronger and more accurate, the double sword hits twice. What are your opinions? (I'm talking about weapons for HUmars)

I prefer using Double Sabers and Daggers than anything else. And I'm a HUmar.

multiple targets = sword

I prefer gunblades though :P

Just try out them all. Keep in mind though that the HUmar is the highest ATP class that can wield the Emperor Axeon, which is the highest ATP Gunblade.

i personally use everything besides bazooka and laser cannon since i dont have a RA. swapping from time to time prevents me from getting bored :P

I use a gunblade 99% of the time. (the other 1% is when I'm healing a party full of casts) You don't miss as much as you'd think really. (then again I use normal attacks and only heavy when performing the Earth Bullet PA) Give it a shot if you haven't tried it out and are just looking at the numbers. Granted you may not like it but at least you'll have tried.

Since you're asking for best, that would have to be daggers and double sabers, as each lands 6 hits on a single combo. Gunblades are also pretty good witht he slash-slash-shoot combo, as well as mech guns (same reason as daggers and double sabers - 6 hits on a combo) But yeah, using other stuff makes the game more fun, so just try things out.

I use a Double Saber for killing enemies 1 by 1, and use a claw (bite stamp) for killing multiple enemies. If your sword has Over-End, use that on tough enemies or bosses.

I use a claw, bite stamp is just too good.
Maybe if I had a godly Foie Haze I'd use it.
By godly it must be at least (50/50/50/50/50)
