I guess Rengokuto Ensa/Gren could be considered special, since with each kill the weapons get stronger, but it's a temporary bonus and dissappears at the end of a mission.

Frozen shooter could be one. Even with lvl 1 Freeze, it has really high chance of freezing enemies.

In Infinity there are a few more 'unseal' weapons but no SPECIAL WEAPONS like in PSO.

I believe if you wear the Freeze resist module you won't be frozen. It's my standard kit, and I have never frozen myself with Frost shot.
