Well, if it means anything, my character is stricly a newman GM (170/20). I only did MAG+ the first week with a time of 12:05 or so, though I imagine I could have gotten it down to 10:00-10:30 if I kept it up with the tricks my friends were doing to get time down better (buffs at start comes to mind), yet I still ended up at 112th place, ahead of every human and far ahead beyond any other newman (none other was a gunmaster as far as I can tell), and ahead of all but a few beasts (maybe 2 or 3). Sadly, that was my last hurrah for PSU, as I have moved on back to FFXI.

Edit: I take that back, my good friend Natuho was also on the list as a newman. I will have to ask him what his type was. He has all of the types maxed at 20 on his newman! Placed at 64.

Proportionally, more than ATP.

It's actually 400.

I have a cast female and a beast male both at Lv170/20 GM. The difference in ATA matters more than the difference in ATP.

So yeah, the accuracy makes the cast the highest-DPS race as Gunmaster, by a clear amount, too.

Beasts with shotguns or lasers miss so much, and they are the most powerful weapons. Makes me lol every time I see a retard using L/KK on beast GM.

I quite rarely miss on my Beast GM. The simple fact is that both CAST and Beast GM's can miss all five shots on a shotgun at relatively the same rate, therefore making it useless. 400 ATA is really not a lot when you have 2K+ ATA anyway. Besides, you can always shoot from behind to completely ignore ATA in general.
