The anniversary is like November or December something, so like I said up there ^, I wouldn't expect anything until around then.

At least the 4th quarter of the year. August-December or so.

Oh I thought it was after March because I heard something about special announcements once PSU PC/PS2 servers shut down.

Came out in Japan November, 2000.
January 2001 for the US, and February 2001 for Eu.

I'm assuming they are counting the Japan release, since it would only be the 9th anniversary for the US and Eu.

They could be doing the announcement as early as the shutdown, which is March 31, I think.
Early release of information would be great!

I can't see US PSP2 being the announcement for the 10th anniversary surprise (unless there's more than one surprise), as the announcement is geared towards Japan too. Also, as Volcompat said, it's technically only the 9th anniversary for PSO in the western world.

Since it hasn't even been announced yet for the US, I'd put it at Autumn (Fall for you Americans) at the very earliest.

Very doubtful, seeing how the sales for Psz, and PS:P1 weren't too bad.
They'd definitely make more money exporting to the US and Eu.
Plus, with everyone all hyped up for the announcement, it's bound to get some older PSO fans back in the Phantasy Star loop, meaning even more sales for people intrigued by the -could be-awesome news.
