Amusing Shop Greetings
You know how when you go into a player shop, the PM usually greets you with a message? Usually they say something simple like "Welcome to the shop!" or "Make yourself at home!" or something like that. But browsing the shop listings and making my way into a variety of rooms, I've found some that were mildly amusing, and others that made me literally laugh out loud.
Not that long ago, I was searching for some materials and found a shop that had them. I went in, and the Partner Machine cried out as I stepped in. "Help! My master beats me!" After I bought the item, it cried out "Help me plz!" I broke out laughing... which actually probably makes me a really terrible person to be laughing at a beaten and abused PM.
In another room that was on the recommended shops list, the ownder was standing right by the PM and as I entered it cried out "My master molests me!" I snapped at the owner demanding him not to molest his PM, but he didn't answer me. He seemed... busy. Irronically the PM was named "Touch Me".
Another room again had a beaten PM, and their bulletin board was also full of other players begging him to stop beating the PM.
My favorite has to be a rather intollerant PM I met. As soon as I entered it said "Trespassers will be shot." And after I purchased an item it responded "...surviviors will be shot again." I quickly fled the room...
Not all of them are so violent though. Just a few minutes ago I went into one where the PM whistled "Hellooo Nurse-... oh wait it's just you."
What about the rest of you? What are the best shop greetings you've seen? And not to be outdone by the PMs are our fine feathered friends, the parrots you find in rooms. Any amusing parrot stories too?
