Gaming screwed with my grades a little in high school, but, besides that, never really affected other aspects of my life. I'm not a social person as it is, anyway, so I really don't have anything to lose in that department. I'd rather play games all weekend then go anywhere.

I don't play many games as it is. (inb4outriderrageatpat)

The games I do play though, I play a lot. I mean I put well over 6,000 hours or so on PSU all together.
Monster Hunter has also taken a lot of my time.

All in all, I've never been screwed for playing games, or playing games so much.
The girl I've been seeing likes watching me play games!
And she's not too bad at em either.
Totally Dude, me and freind from school went to the mall to beat each other at Halo 3, GH

Well shit, if you can get yourself a gamer girl, then I don't see how gaming can screw ya. (unless you're in school/college or whatnot)
Or mess up your job by playing games too much.

Wonder if those game testers ever get into trouble at work for playing a different game then their testing!

Gaming has actually brought me closer to my friends.
Back when I almost never played games, I couldn't exactly relate to my other gamer friends.
Sure I'd play Tony Hawks Pro Skater every once in a while, but I was never hardcore into games, so when I went to hang out with all them, I was bored.
They'd be having their LAN parties and whatnot at the school, and invite me to it, where I end up getting bored watching people play games.

So, I started playing those games after I got my first job(since my mom wouldn't buy games for me), and decided I liked them.
First game I ever kicked someones ass in was the first Dragon Ball Z Ps2 fighting game. Forget what it's called.

Opposite for me sadly. None of my friends played games. Well, anything but sports games (which I hate/suck at).

    Thank god for the internet.

Oh and uh, sorry you liked Tony Hawk Pro Skater so much. It must pain you to see Activision ran it into the ground. >_<

Yea, I was always the "skater" and hung out with gamers, so people thought that was weird.
To be honest, the "skaters" and other steroetypes are mostly a bunch of asshole fuckboys that play around too much, and are extremely unintelligent. (well the ones I knew).

My gamer friends for the most part are actually "cooler" than the other dudes.
They drink(which I do), they listen to the same music as me. (rap, rock, basically anything other than country).

So I had a lot more in common with them. Seemed to work out for the best anyway, cause the other guys got me into weed (which is my fault too), and into trouble with the law!
(all them damn trespassing tickets got me into a lot of trouble!)

Just decided to break it off, and "grow up".

But yea, I stopped liking Tony Hawk after THUG2. After that one, they were just...horrible.

Hasn't messed up my life at all. I did happen to play way too much Psu one year though and I do kinda regret doing that lol.

same. even more so when you live in a small town with people you don't like.
