Site Glitch?

Sometimes, when browsing this site, all that will load of this page is the header (and all the links), the bar that shows where I am and that I'm logged in, and the top advertisement. Has this happined to anyone else?

It occurs to me that I haven't seen a top ad in months... and I never did anything (knowingly) to block em... wonder if my skin is "bugged" (It's a feature!)

Never had that happen... could your connection be acting up?

I guess the ads on the front page is all it takes to host the site.

Sounds like the same or similar issue reported in an earlier thread. I still get that problem occasionally, but it's much less frequent than in the past.

That's not quite it. With mine it just says the page is done loading. It hasn't been much of an issue except once. Earlier I typed up my trade list, but then that glitch occured, and everything got lost.

When we moved to our own server, we decided to remove most ads for registered members who were logged in. We wanted to do it for a long time, but previously could not because of our hosting arrangement with IGN

Damn, got to it first.

There's usually just one ad on the right side when you're logged in, but that's it. There's one at the top of the page when you're not. It's pretty big, and has this really annoying scroll-over to do stuff feature. So, stay logged in and enjoy the "glitch"
