Preordering is pointless for any recent PS games. PSU hardly sold any where I live, AoTI hardly stood a chance at making any sales and only like 4 or 5 were sold in the stores here, and PSP1 was just crap. Plus so many people have downloaded ROMs for this game, that pretty much half if not more of this game's players play on an emulator and will stay that way. If its one thing I can't stand, its a person who takes advantage over good work without supporting it.

I usually try to do this for any game that I know I'll buy, especially if Amazon is offering it at a discounted price way before the release date. They'll usually bump the price back up if they end up offering some kind of pre-order bonus or game credit, but the people who ordered when the price was reduced get both the low price AND the pre-order bonuses. Amazon doesn't charge sales tax for most states as well, so that's another bonus.
So, in comparison to buying a copy from your local video game store, you're already saving $5 or $6. They don't charge until the game ships, so it's kind of a no-brainer to at least reserve one at the lower price and hope the deal gets even better.

Pre-Ordered!!
The GameStop in Lihue,HI says that its supposed to come out September 14. Hopefully they'll stick to that date.
I've heard sept 28th, then sept 3rd and now it's the 14th. Can anyone confirm which date is going to be solid for the release?
