PSP Internet connection HELP!

I've been having trouble with connecting my psp to the internet. I have connected my psp to many other routers before, but the router i have now when i connect to it always says "a connection error has occured. the connnection has timed out" i am typing in the right WEP key, the wlan switch is on too. Also my ps3 and laptop connect fine to the router, but its my psp that wont connect. I also called the internet company, but they had no clue. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you~
