I've owned and played every Phantasy Star game, that you can legally obtain in America, except for Blue Burst. PSO is perfection to me (offline at least), and Sega will never be able to recreate that magic, again. The limits of the dreamcast and other systems back in the day, pushed companies to make fun interesting games, not graphics heavy games with limited fun, and replay value, like we experience today. Games today lack hardwork, and imagination.

I started out on PSO Xbox. PSU felt like it was made by retards who left all the good shit back in PSO.

I have hope the next phantasy star game will be good. I mean, it would almost be impossible to make it worse than PSU.

Take note. All of the classic Phantasy Star Games are all in a single package as well. Cheap too. I say pretty much any classic SEGA fan *needs* to get Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. It'll be the best 20 or less you'll spend.

I saw a review of PSU on Game Informer and tried the game. I loved the gameplay and played online most of my time. I'm pretty eager to see what psp2 is going to be like. I like how psp improved psu.

Planning to replay PSP2 and prove to myself that the chaining mechanic do not slow down the pace of the combat. =/
Planning to replay PSU (ep1 and 2) for story and gameplay, PSZ and PSP2 offline mode Only Also I'm keeping my FC for psz up though the Network Mode is closed.
