This will be an art/drawing contest!

You have to draw your favorite character from PS:P2, or even PS:P1!
I will be asking a few people to be the judges. (You'll get a PM from me!)

We got Ethateral contributing a prize, a 1GB memory stick!

So, no we have prizes for first, second, and third!
First being the 8GB, second being the 2Gb, and third place being the 1GB!****

Rules:

Must be a Phantasy Star Portable 1, or Phantasy Star Portable 2 character, or character in any background. Can be a created character!
But if it is, please have a PS:P1 or PS:P2 specific item on the character. Clothing, hairstyle, weapon, ect.
Has to be original, obviously!
Has to be made for this contest!

Can be done digitally, or traditionally.
Please, no nudity, or sexual themes, because that would be against PSO-W's rules.

That way I don't miss or lose track of any entries.
When I get the entries, I'll edit them in here, the original post for everyone to see. (unless requested by the entrant not to post it).

Depending on how many people enter...
I will pick the top 10 or so, then the judges will each pick their favorite, then they will all vote on which the first place winner is.
Something like that, to keep it simple.
Unfortunately, there will only be 1 winner, unless people want to contribute other prizes for second and third place winners.
But, don't let this discourage you! Everyone can have fun, and their art will not go to waste!
I will add it to my gallery here on PSO-World, if it's okay with the entrants!
(It will be under my contests part, which is not there yet).

I'll want about 15 or more people to enter, but that may not happen.

As soon as the people I asked to be judges get back to me, I'll set a deadline date.
(It will probably be at least by September 5th anyway, so there's time for the memory stick to get to the person in time for PS:P2's release!)

Be creative with it, and at least try!
You're right, you can never have too much memory!

My part of the judging will not be about who's is better, I will be seeing who actually tried, and whatnot.
I mean, a stick figure isn't very much art, and isn't trying, so at least try, and you never know, you might be in the top!

Plus, if you're the only one to enter, you'll win! Haha.

What exactly are you going to be basing your judgements on? You mentioned looking for effort being put in but I'm curious if you are going to have different categories you'll address.

Well, I didn;t think too many people would enter, so I think just 1 entry for now.
If we do get more than 10 people or so, I'd say up to 2, and then we will have categories as well.

Like I said in the quote before, I don't expect many people, but if we do get more than 10 or so people, I'll have categories.

I'm going to base my original decision on creativity, along with effort.
I mean, I don't want to see someone just standing there looking pretty, I want to see something with action in it, or something.

I'm not 100% sure exactly, but I know what I like, and what to look for.

If we can get more than 10 people to join, then I'll make categories.
But having categories means needing more prizes.
If we get more than the 10 or so, then I'll get more prizes, and maybe even up the 1st place to an 8Gb memory stick. Maybe.
