PSPo2 expansion/sequel: Infinity

I take my eyes off this topic for two days and the number of posts has gone up threefold. Too lazy to read through all 300+ posts, so can someone summarize what we've found out about PSP2i so far, especially in regards to Dumans?

Nothing, it's a lot of me trying to explain how regions work. However, I do present you with new information!


According to a new post on the official blog:

• PSP2i includes everything from PSP2. Story, mission, items, everything.
• PSP2i also includes "enough new data to comprise an entirely new game."
• When you import your PSP2 character data you import:
  
  • Character's appereance
  • Level
  • Character record (mission rankings, time attack, c-mode records, etc)
  • Everything in inventory
  • Everything in storage
  • Room layout, jukebox , theme, etc.
  • Titles
  • Download items (free and purchased)

So. What we have in PSP2i is a PSO Episode 1 & 2 kind of deal and you can take pretty much everything with you. Sakai also mentions that if, for some reason, you become unable to import one or more of the above items, he will let us know on the blog.

I guess the best way to think about it would be PSP2 Epsiode 1 & 2

THAT would be nice. PSP2 + Dumans and new storyline = nice. I just hope that, unlike in PSO Ep. 1 & 2, the PSP2 Ep. 2 actually has facilities that work offline.

Also, how're they gonna fit together Emilia's and the new Duman heroine's stories together?

THAT would be nice. PSP2 + Dumans and new storyline = nice. I just hope that, unlike in PSO Ep. 1 & 2, the PSP2 Ep. 2 actually has facilities that work offline.

From what it looks like, Episode 2 will be based in Clad 6 as well so there's no need to worry about new facilities.

Also, how're they gonna fit together Emilia's and the new Duman heroine's stories together?

What we do know is that Episode 2 comes during the 1 year that happens between the defeat of the final Episode 1 boss and the Episode 1 ending. Nagisa, the Duman heroine, contracts Litttle Wing for protection. The rest is still a mystery.

Whew, good. You can keep your character's appearance. If I had to use anything remotely close to the "male" newman in PSP2i, I'd be mad.

PSPo2 takes up about 1.1GB of the 1.8GB available... that's including videos and sounds. It is safe to say that you can put about five more PSPo2s onto the UMD if your didn't include those two.

Very excited about this game. Dunno about playing as a Duman though. Ill have to see what they specialize in and see their blast.

I'm really rarin up for this game, time to buy mutlpiples of pspo2 so I can get all my freidns hooked into it, and to top it off, help support the industry so we WILL see this expansion/story. I like the looks of it. I probably will play as dumans if they're a playable race, idk, the dark twist to them tickled my fancy right away.
