PSZ was amazing at first, though I never got any good drops - friends kept me playing. Now that it's dead there's no point in me playing.

Yeah, just about... For a good while, I used to only really play games about a year after they came out, but that all pretty much stopped once PM:TTYD came out, and then so far from then until PSZ now.
The irrationality of it all astounds me, but I've disliked Sony for as long as I can remember... I don't know why, hence the "irrationality" of it all. They seems to have some good games, but something about the Playstation systems just really does not make me want to buy them, for better or worse... : /

I feel like staying on PSZ since I just got it a few months ago before PSP2 came out. Maybe Playstation games only aims at hardcore gamers and nintendo games aims at both groups so that the games are made for fun and full of adventure.
To me, PSZ made me feel like pictochat + Kingdom Hearts 365/2 days and wifi are joined up and this made me love this game also it can be mostly fun if I can meet more active and determined friends to use these features through. It would be such a dream to play it.

I say smurf PSP2 I'm sticking to PSZ.... DAMMIT I want me the PSP2 experience waaaaaa xD But Im sticking with PSZ.
Why people deny themselves a Phantasy star experience through unfounded loyalties is beyond me.
I am a sega/dreamcast fanboy and a DC vet which I bet a lot of the posters on here arent.
I should HATE sony for killing sega but tbh they are the best games company out at the moment, i hate nintendo because tbh the wii is just awful.
I also have played PSZ and really didnt think it felt like a PS game as much as most people say it does, its only the battle system. Other than that i thought it was very average.
Thats actually a really good way to describe PSZ...

Planning to replay PSP2 and prove to myself that the chaining mechanic do not slow down the pace of the combat. =/
Planning to replay PSU (ep1 and 2) for story and gameplay, PSZ and PSP2 offline mode Only Also I'm keeping my FC for psz up though the Network Mode is closed.
I keep trying to fight off the urge to buy a PSP and PS:P2 since that's $250 down the drain... but every time I see a screenshot of the game I get incredibly excited again
I don't know what I'm going to do D:
