And my point is that there is a weapon to fit the wave. A good long sword is more useful for cleaving though a group of monster's. On the other hand a spear useful in med-ranged hit and run attacks v.s. a mini boss.

Lol except this isn't true at all and Robado is far more effective at killing large groups because it has more ATA than sword PA's (and the weapon type), it strikes faster, and it hits SIX(6!) targets in this game.

Your preference != Max efficiency. But please, continue to use swords if you enjoy it. It's a game, so have fun.

But thats a PA....
Use it to much and you may find yourself with a fresh group spawning and vary little PP. The sword has a wide basic attack good for hitting two/three at a time.
