I just completed Chapter 7 and saw that I can now purchase Kubara replicas. OK.....
(1) Why are Kubara-made GRM & Yomeii weapons 20,000+ meseta, but Kubara-made Tanora are only worth 1,250+ w/the same stats?
(2) Why are Kubara C-Rank when they are more powerful than their real B-Rank counterparts??...especially when they grind out so well.
(3) Where's the downside???

I have always been a PSO guy and not PSU, so please lay low on the flamage...it's an honest question.

It's for users who have a high-level character and are leveling low-level types. You won't be able to afford A/S rank on your weapons off the bat, so those Kubara counterparts work effectively.

Any reason as to why the discrepency in price between the 3 Kubara styles (GRM, Yomeii & Tanora Works)??????

I don't recall any price difference between the three, but rank and element all factor in to price.

Nah, I noticed it too. The Tenora ones cost maybe one tenth as much for the same amount of stars or even similar amount of element, for the Kubara copies, compared to those made by GRM or Yohmei.

Here is my personal guess on prices of the Kubura replicas:

The weapons that are the cheapest tends to relate to the company with the best in their field.

GRM usually get the best:
Sabers
Swords
Double Sabers
Twin Sabers
Rifles
Mechguns
Laser Cannons
R-MAGs
T-MAGs

Yohmei tends to make the best:
Daggers
Twin Daggers
Claws
Twin Claws
Slicers
Longbows
Cards
Wands
Rods

and for Tenora:
Spears
Knuckles
Axes
Whips
Shotguns
Grenade Launchers

so the prices really tend to fall in who has the advantage.

Purely for example:
Hanzoc, 3 star, 28% 1560 Meseta
Soda Hazzoc, 3 star, 10% 60000 Meseta

As stated, the purpose of those weapons is for filler while you are leveling a lower level type. At type level 1 you can't use A ranks or S ranks so those Kubara C ranks are there to fill the gaps for players until they can use 9 Star (in most cases the 9 star A ranks outclass the Kubara C rank shop stuff by at least a little bit, along with the fact they don't have the added pp consumption that the kubara knock offs have).
