Final Fantasy VIII or VII? (Final Fantasy thread)

Well I'm at around 12 dollars on my PSN acount and I'm debating weather to get FFVIII or FFVII, as both take up practically a huge portion either 5/8's or 3/4's of a memory stick, but both are kind of a childhood reminder and fun, great soundtracks fun stories btu I'm like stuck in a teetering dilemma between both of them.

I personally disliked VIII, but VII is just too easy now that I know how to do anything...
Any other game you could possibly want, like Bejeweled 2 Deluxe?

Aside from the fact that it actually has a coherent story and characters that are actually different from one another in battle, it's also got one of the most over-looked battle systems in the series' history.

Unless you have a problem with a battle system that can be gamed like no other.

I wasn't a fan of the Junction thing and the fact that I could just easily fish out my Limit Break by spamming Triangle or whatever while my health was yellow.

If ever there was a good use of a poll, this is it. I say Final Fantasy VII, personally.

That ending for FFVIII made no sense to me. Maybe if I played it again since it's been about 10 years since I last played it. Personally, I liked FFVII more but VIII is a goodie, too.
