I've tried using the item trader with friends in multiplayer and realized there's a lot of items that dont' show up specifically high rarity items. Even though they are in my inventory at the time I attempt to make a trade.

Anyone know why this happens? Are there restrictions in what you can trade?

This is because the developers of the game wanted you to go out and get rare weapons yourself instead of simply just trading for them.

That's pretty lame of them, MMORPGs don't normally limit item trading like that. It sucks out a big part of the joy of having friends to play with. Specially if you find rares that are pointless to your playstyle.

On the upside this limits cheaters from passing around bugged weapons like in PSU with the Crea Doubles shenanigans.

Its because you can back up save your data from your pc.Imagine trading those 15 stars weapons from one person to another and then loading the back up file like nothing was traded away.
