Important news for PSP2 players in the west regarding online play

ok from what i've read Sega still hasn't patched the problem with needing the LWL. is this true, if it is i'll cry with joy that getting a new psp will not stop me from going online.

I bought the UMD in December and could get online without registering my code. And it's still like that now.

I'm assuming you're asking because you don't plan on getting the game through legal methods now are you?

A bit of extra info on the LWL, it's linked by account and not the system. If it were implemented you just need your account it was registered under.

well you see i wanted to use my own account for the psp but my dad was already registered to it and i didn't know how to get my own accout on there. so i used the code on it. now my dad took back the psp (because he likes taking both it and the wii away when my mom won't do "IT" with him and yes my parents are devorced.) and i need to eather get it back or get a new one. because i already used my code and didn't know how to get a new one without buying the game i had to ask.

yeah it's still like that, I got the UMD some days ago and I didn't have to register. should have downloaded the iso :P

I'm hoping they get the Digital version back up, soon. I do know a number of people who want to get it now, from there, but can't.
