vanguards are broken???

I'll probably never make a Vanguard; I think just putting traps down and standing around while everything dies is boring as hell.

I see your point but at the same time I think for the mere sake of its existence I will at least play one. I want to learn the class first hand and see what the deal is with this "eccentric" class. The weapon selection actually seems a bit more fitting for the build I'm creating with my Hunter, but I see trial and error as a part of replay value and one of the most fitting ways to learn.

Vanguards don't have to be played with traps. I'm a Vanguard and have been for using it for over 300 hours and I never relied on traps to do the work for me. I use my Vanguard as I would use a Hunter.

Its not the vanguard class that is broken,its the Ex traps.Its the new Shag Hejiz+Vivi Danga combo.

I haven't been playing much lately but my RA can hold 4 EX Burn traps, do VG's hold more then 4? or is it just the benefit of being able to use both EX traps i.e. 8 total.

They can use both Ex traps for a total of 8 ex traps in your inventory.Its a different matter though if your team mates carries Ex traps then dropping it in the middle of the fight for you to use if you exhausted your supply.

Every one of the classes are great. Vanguards just are effective with EX and therefore have an easy advantage over everything else. :l
