To derail an unrailed topic is to give it a set of rails and not letting it derail, thus you've derailed the topic by not derailing it but by doing so you are derailing it which causes it to be ontopic and justified... ... ...? ?

o.o pie... i have a craving for a chocolatey custard with a slim layer of a jelly made with strawberry blueberry and a wee bit of kiwi, topped with whippcream...

Anything with a name made like that yet?

Ex; Lemon merangue take the lemony goodness and switch it with chocolate, add a bit of the above mentioned jelly to the top of that and replace the merangue(foamy egg stuffs) with whipcream.
