Anyone still playing PSP2 US?

I'm planning of getting this game for Christmas and i'm wondering who still plays? I ask this because I went to several forums and they said the population was dying and wonder if its true.

No there is still an active population. There are a bunch of weirdos and the usual hackers, but there are plenty of people playing the game. I would suggest looking into on of the IRC channels and making friends to play with.

I still play and I probably will until it completely dies. Even then I'll probably just stick to Story Mode

I have no idea. Probably still 1, lawl. I only play online with friends.

There has never been a single star when I have been online, but there are still occasionally about 10+ games going not including the ones that aren't listed due to being full or running a mission.

I was just online yesterday and actually found a good party with a player named Pandora. We got disconnected while fighting a boss and I couldn't find her again which made me sad

Buuuut, to answer your question, yes there are still people playing. I think it all depends on the time and day of the week you try to go online though. Also there's often alot of high level players so I recommend leveling a bit before playing online or like someone mentioned join a IRC and find some people who want to party.

You also have to consider the amount of people that just stay in Story Mode. If it wasn't for all the nonsense lobbies out there I would be online more.

Throughout the times when I play online, I've only seen 1 star once. When I first saw it, I thought I was just seeing things.

But yes, there are still plenty of players online, and while there are more high-leveled parties, there are some players around lvl 10 or so as well, so don't get discouraged about playing online as a low level. IRCs and other community groups are also good to go to find players, and a list of those groups can be found in one of the stickies above the threads.
